Clockmaker of London

I met Len Churcher a few years ago now on a commission for a hospital foundation. He is quite man. In his early 90′s Len builds by hand grandfather clocks…then gives them away. He donate’s his one of kind clocks to church congregations to celebrate anniversaries or other events.  You can view the rest of the pictures from this essay here: http://spowart.photoshelter.com/gallery/Len-Churcher/G0000iPOGBEslR.c/

  1. These images are wonderful reminders that a life working on your craft is a life well spent. I am on a quest to capture, understand, and share the lessons found in valuing craftsmanship. Blogging about this search, I am lucky to have stumbled onto your blog. Fantastic photos. Thanks for my inspiration of the day.
