Today’s Pic…January 18, 2012.

In 2006 I covered a protest on Parliament Hill in Ottawa where farmers from across Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes gathered to bring awareness to the income crisis that family farms were facing at that time.  It was the also the start of my continuing interest in the sector.  In 2012 I will be returning to rural Ontario as well as other parts of the country to continue my work photographing the families who produce the food we enjoy.  This link will take you to more images.  http://www.photoshelter.com/mem/gallery/gallery-show/G0000eIRjiMjFQLE?_bqR=t
