Fine Art Friday – Tulips-2.

Fine Art Friday - Tulips-2.

Today is the first for a new series of posts, that as you can guess by the name, will appear each Friday.

2014 is the first year that I am offering selected work from my archive for sale as limited edition prints and fine art giclee’s.

Printed at Pitko in Toronto the 16×20″ prints and giclee’s are inspected and proofed before being delivered. Prints are limited to a run of 200 and giclee’s to 50. Sales are tracked in a database and at the end of the run the image will be removed from sale and archived.

Black & White is my favourite medium in photography. They are timeless, classic and in my opinion simply beautiful, and that is why this work will only be printed in B&W.

The piece I have selected for this first post is titled “Tulips-2″ It was shot in May 2011 during The Canadian Tulip Festival held each year in Ottawa. This festival is a favourite for many people and you could almost say there are more photographers and artists than there are tulips.

In this image the flowers are heavily backlit by the sun, making the petals almost translucent and providing nice toning and depth to the image.

Prices – (16×20”)
Print – $95+HST/Shipping
Giclee – $210+HST/Shipping

In the menu bar at the top of page you will see “NEW-Edition Prints” tab, inside is additional information and the rest of the 15 images I currently have available for sale. More work will be made available as it is created and as I continue to work through my archive.

Full frame 24×36″ prints & giclee’s as well as canvass wraps may also be available, and please feel free to contact me for framing options.

My work is also available on a rental basis for offices/home staging etc and may be purchased on an instalment/layaway plan. I am also available for commissioned work.
