Personal Project – Family Farming

MS_FamFarm52A friend recently said to me, if she has not been reading for some time, before she reads a big book, she will read a smaller one to get her brain thinking about reading again. It’s been a few years since I have shot any type of personal work, and with a big project starting to take shape, I decided to get try and get my brain thinking about that type of work by revisiting one of my favourite projects. From 2006-2008 I photographed a family farm in Parkhill Ontario, Canada. The farm is, and has been owned by the same family for more than 100 years. Here, two generations Simon, left and Rick, right (father & son) share a light moment with Rick’s cousin Brian.
