Mark Spowart is an editorial stock & assigment photographer based in Southwestern Ontario Canada.

My passion for photography began at a very young age and is as strong today as it was then.

In addition to maintaining my own stock archive I am a contributor to Getty Images as well as Alamy and Canadian Press Images

When I am not on assignment or working on a personal project I am most often out in Southwestern Ontario shooting a variety of editorial and commercial stock images. With close to 10,000 images in my archive this continues to be the main thrust of my work going forward.

Through direct licensing and these agencies my work has appeared in editorial publications and on major news outlets websites around the world. I have covered everything from Rogers Cup Tennis to the funeral of Rene Angelil.

I am also the co-founder of WideOpenStudios – a stock archive that is home to my work and the work of Joseph David of London Ontario.
